Course Introduction

We are offering the second in our series of in-house mock entrance exams.  This is a valuable opportunity for your child to sit a full mock entrance exam before the long summer holiday.

Whether they are preparing for the ISEB pre-test, the Consortium pre-test, or other competitive entrance exams, this will give them the experience of sitting a challenging exam in test conditions, and the results will guide their preparation over the summer and beyond.

Course Schedule

These mock papers are created in-house, and they test English (comprehension plus spelling, punctuation and grammar), maths, and both verbal and non-verbal reasoning.

You will receive a detailed, personal feedback report produced by our in-house education lead, Jacob Shephard.  The report is shared with all Winterwood tutors working with your child and will be used to guide their preparation going forward.

We highly recommend these exams if your child is preparing for the entrance exams and will enter year 6 in Sepember.

“Excellent tutors who go beyond rote learning and really inspire children to improve”

Our Cancellation Policy

If you cancel less than one week ahead of the exam, the fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to another date or another student.

If you cancel outside of the one week exam date, we will happily credit your account to attend a future mock.

If you do not show up for a mock, you are not eligible for a credit or refund.

Why we charge a cancellation fee

This is to cover the tutors’ reserved time to run a mock exam, to pay for their time spent pre-planning the exam and relevant material, printing fees incurred and the loss of revenue to Winterwood as it is often too late to fill a cancelled space.  More importantly, other students miss out on attending an exam.
