Course Introduction

Winterwood is offering original mock exams this autumn – these will test English, maths, verbal and non-verbal reasoning.  The papers are geared towards the ISEB pre-test, the Consortium pre-test and other similar pre-test exams.

These are different papers from those offered on the 13th September.  If your child attended that mock exam, they will have a different experience on the 11th of  October.  These are the last Winterwood mock exams before the ISEB pre-test.

Course Schedule

You will receive a detailed, personalised report following the exam, written by our in-house education and mock exam lead, Jacob Shephard.  The report is shared with all Winterwood tutors working with your child and is used to guide their preparation in this crucial period.

There will be another mock exam in November, which is suitable for girls sitting the Consortium pre-test exam (day schools including Godolphin & Latymer, South Hampstead High School, and Francis Holland) and boys sitting exams for schools like Dulwich College and City of London, which use Quest Assessment.

These mock exams will provide children with the experience of taking a practice test alongside their peers, and the reports will ensure that they receive targeted support in the areas where they need it most, especially with the half-term holidays upcoming.

Our Cancellation Policy

If you cancel less than one week ahead of the exam, the fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to another date or another student.

If you cancel outside of the one week exam date, we will happily credit your account to attend a future mock.

If you do not show up for a mock, you are not eligible for a credit or refund.

Why we charge a cancellation fee

This is to cover the tutors’ reserved time to run a mock exam, to pay for their time spent pre-planning the exam and relevant material, printing fees incurred and the loss of revenue to Winterwood as it is often too late to fill a cancelled space.  More importantly, other students miss out on attending an exam.
