Course Introduction

This short holiday camp is for students starting Year 2 in September 2026.

The course is designed to cover core 7+ exam topics – those certain to come up on entrance exams.  As families travel plans may differ, the course is set in a modular way so families can choose the days they will attend.

Course Schedule

Day I – Dictation and Handwriting

Day II – Reading inference and written comprehension

Day III – Fractions, Time and Money

Day IV – Problem solving and word problems in maths

Day V – Assessment of all topics (half day exam assessment, 10:00-13:00)

“Thank you, for setting us up to get very helpful boosts at the right times this past term.  You and the team around you made it easy to organise at our end, and simple–and that I’m sure reduces parental stress at the right moment!”

Our Cancellation Policy

If you cancel less than two weeks ahead of the start date of the course, the fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to another date or another student.

If you cancel outside of the two week course date, we will happily credit your account to attend a future course.

If you do not show up for a course, you are not eligible for a credit or refund.

Why we charge a cancellation fee

This is to cover the tutors’ reserved time to run a group course, to pay for their time spent pre-planning the class and relevant material, printing fees incurred and the loss of revenue to Winterwood as it is often too late to fill a cancelled space.  More importantly, other students miss out on attending a group.
